Why 670nm red light?
Highly energy efficient and tuned to the best red light therapy wavelength, this product’s light output coincides exactly with our cellular absorption, ensuring maximum effects in the shortest time possible. It emits a highly concentrated beam of 670nm red light – ensuring usefulness over a wide range and covering a large area.
The spectrum ranges from some orange-red light (630nm) all the way into the near-infrared (710nm), with the peak wavelength output firmly in the 670nm range.
This product can be handheld, hung with the included hanging clips, or positioned on any flat surface. It can be effectively used from a distance of up to 45cm.

LED technology is 5-10 times more efficient per unit of light than traditional incandescent lighting. COB LED technology has less resistance than single LED or UFO type lighting. Fan and heat sink cooled.

Can this hurt my eyes?
The typical human eye responds to wavelengths 400nm to 700nm. The light coming from this device is bright red, meaning it is uncomfortable to point directly into the eyes for extended periods.
Red light is not intrinscially harmful to the eyes, but the brightness of this device will cause temporary afterimages if pointed into the eyes. You will want to close your eyes when using it on the face (blindfolds etc., will also block the light).
